Welcome to our last newsletter for 2017
We’ve had a wonderful year at the centre. Thank you to all of our families for continuing to show faith in us. Your support and the many referrals we receive is the backbone of our business. Thank you.
Christmas Closing Dates
As you know the centre will be closing on Friday 22nd December and we will re-open Monday the 8th January 2018. We will be moving existing children and commencing new children into their new class rooms from this date. Children not returning to the centre next year their last day will be Friday 22nd December.
2018 Operational hours
Our year commences on the 8th January 2018 and will conclude on Friday 21st December 2018. If you are not returning to the centre in 2019; Friday the 21st Dec 2018 will be your child’s last day.
Children’s Christmas Party
Santa will be visiting the centre at the children’s Christmas party and concert on Friday 8th December starting at 6.00pm. As usual we will have Old McDonald’s farm, The Lions club doing the barbecue, Face painting, The balloon clowns, Mr Whippy, The fairy floss machine and much more.
We will put out a time table closer to the day for when Santa will be in the rooms and with the times of the concert.
Re-enrolments
Reminder to check your pigeon holes for your re-enrolment letters. If you have any queries in regards to your child’s days and the room they will be in for 2018 please speak to the office staff.
Sunscreen & Insect repellent
Due to feedback from families in regards to the safety of the sunscreen we are currently using and after consultation with our local chemist and researching different products; we will no longer be supplying Repel sunscreen plus (sunscreen and insect repellent). We will be trialling a new sunscreen and Deet-free insect repellent; you will now need to apply sunscreen and the insect repellent separately.
Outstanding accounts
All outstanding accounts need to be finalised by Friday 15th December. Payment in full is required on a weekly basis, or in advance – never in arrears. We will not be caring any outstanding fees over into 2018. If your fees are more than three weeks in arrears your booking may be cancelled. Expect a phone call from the office if you are not up to date by week ending 17th December. This is the decision of the Manager and Management Committee so any queries must be initially directed to the Manager, Director or Centre Administrator.
Christmas present Donations
We will be collecting presents for the disadvantaged children again this year. The gifts will be collected by the Salvation Army who will then pass them onto children in need. If you wish to donate a gift please mark boy or girl on your gift with the age of the child and place under the Christmas tree in the dining room.
